Special concept: worth seeing for what it is
Manama · Diplomatic Area, Bahrain
Why it’s on the route
Café Ségo was opened in 2019 in Manama's Diplomatic Area by Ségolène Cretaux, who trained in coffee roasting in Lyon and roasts the house coffee under the Louis XIV label. The interior recreates an 18th-century Parisian salon with antiques brought from France. The menu leans heavily French, from pastries to steak-frites, so it is as much a French café-bistro as a coffee stop.
