Why it’s on the route

Kaffe was set up in Recife by roast master Eudes Santana and barista Lidiane Santos, and roasts coffee that it supplies to more than 50 cafés and restaurants across six Northeast states. Alongside the cafés it runs barista courses and advises farmers moving into specialty coffee. The Boa Viagem café serves its own freshly roasted coffee across a range of brewing methods and sells brewers such as the locally made Koar.
