Why it’s on the route

Cafetano opened in Tegucigalpa in 2015 under Nicaraguan-born Mirko Cuculiza and roasts its own beans, serving coffee from Finca Miravella in Guaimaca. The bar offers pour-over, Aeropress and Chemex, and runs workshops on varieties and roast types. Its beans have been exported to Norway and Blue Bottle.
