Why it’s on the route

Fugol was founded by John Christopher, who began learning coffee in 2015 while finishing an engineering degree in Bandung and went on to place fifth at the World Brewers Cup in Melbourne. The roastery aims for coffees that are easy to brew and consistent, from Indonesian lots such as Kamojang Wanoja and Gayo Wine to Ethiopian and Panamanian single origins. Filters are brewed at a standing bar where you talk the coffee through with the barista.
