Why it’s on the route
LAK40 is a three-generation family farm at about 950 m on the Bolaven Plateau, where founder Khamborisouth Sackda roasts the farm's own cherries and sells them under the LAK40 brand. The café at the entrance to the cooperative centre serves Arabica and fine Robusta with deli items, plus Paksong tea from the same farm. Its Robusta entries won the Lao Green Coffee Competition in 2021 and 2022.
