Why it’s on the route
Crack Inc. was set up in Kota Kinabalu in 2017 and describes itself as Sabah's first specialty coffee roaster, with the aim of making specialty coffee more accessible. Its roaster Wayne Liew has also guided roasting at Contour, the Petaling Jaya roastery of three-time Malaysia barista champion Jason Loo. The Riverson shop in Sembulan serves its coffee and sells house blends and Colombian single origins, including as drip bags.
