Why it’s on the route

Tetlán started as a closed-door roastery run by founder and head roaster Jair Sánchez, and the roaster remains the centre of the business. The bar in Santa Tere serves filter coffee from its own roasts alongside espresso drinks, and sells beans, local chocolate and prints. Murals painted by one of the roasters cover the walls.
