Why it’s on the route
Bennu was opened in 2008 on East MLK Boulevard by Steve and Stephanie Williams and is one of the few places in Austin still open 24 hours a day. Its coffee is roasted by local Texas Coffee Traders to profiles developed with Steve Williams, served as espresso, individual French presses, cold brew and the house Iced Bennu. Day and night, the tables fill with students and laptop workers.
