Northern Coffeeworks

Why it’s on the route

Northern Coffeeworks is a south Minneapolis coffee bar owned by Josh Klauck of the Angry Catfish bike shop, with which it long shared a building. It once poured single origins from roasters such as Intelligentsia, Onyx and Sweet Bloom, but now roasts its own coffee under head roaster Naomi Vaughan and sells beans wholesale. A 2023 remodel added a new bar, more seating and retail shelves.
