Why it’s on the route

Picacho grew out of the coffee that jazz musician and music teacher Chad Morris began hand-roasting in 2009 for fellow teachers; he runs it with Lauren Morris. Most lots are single origins bought directly from farmers, and the Conway Avenue coffee bar shares a roof with the roastery, so you can watch the roasting over a pour-over, a tasting flight or a pastry.
