Why it’s on the route

Disciple roasts on site in a small backstreet warehouse and sources directly from farms; founder Marwin Shaw is Q-Grade accredited. It calls itself a coffee cellar door and serves everything black, from espresso to a pour-over range that runs from modest to rare lots. Drinks come in handmade ceramic mugs with no takeaway cups, alongside a few vegan snacks.
