Why it’s on the route

Caffènation was opened in 2003 by Rob Berghmans, who bought good beans and began roasting them himself, and now supplies several other Antwerp coffee bars. Head roaster Jeff Verellen is a multiple Belgian and twice world AeroPress champion. The Mechelsesteenweg site has a bean shop on the ground floor, the bar above and a quieter lounge on the top floor.
