Why it’s on the route
OOP Café was opened in 2016 by Tiago Damasceno and Adriene Cobra, whose family had a coffee farm in southern Minas; Tiago roasts and Adriene sources green coffee from small producers. Coffees rotate often and are served as espresso or filter, with V60 and AeroPress on the bar. The original shop on a pedestrian street near Praça da Savassi has a counter, a hall and sidewalk tables.
