Why it’s on the route
Captain George Flavor Museum is the Shanghai coffee house of Captain George Coffee Roasters, the Guiyang roaster founded by George Jinyang Peng, who won the 2025 World Brewers Cup. The house coffees are roasted by the company, and the pour-over menu at the dedicated brewing bar rotates with what is currently on the roaster. A retail area sells the beans alongside espresso drinks.
