Why it’s on the route

Rumors Coffee was founded by a Sino-Japanese couple and draws on the Japanese kissaten tradition, roasting its coffee on site. The Xingguo Road branch serves no espresso, only V60 pour-overs from a long bean menu, with full table service and handmade Japanese ceramic cups. The space is light-filled and gallery-like.
