Why it’s on the route
Santo Café roasts on a machine that sits in the café as part of the décor, using mostly coffee from the owners' family farm and lots from around 14 micromills. The bar brews by Vandola, Chemex, Japanese siphon, V60 and Origami, and staff walk guests through the menu's tasting descriptions. The shop on the Florencio del Castillo highway in Curridabat also sells Costa Rican chocolate and pastries.
