Founded in 2011 by Benjamin Andberg, Helsingin Kahvipaahtimo roasts all of its beans in a small roastery housed in a former horse stable in Vallila. The menu is built around batch brew with free refills, plus a seasonal light-roast single-origin pour-over and a medium-roast filter blend. A second café operates in the red-brick former abattoir at Teurastamo.
