Why it’s on the route

Project 703 is a roastery café a short walk from Jonker Street that roasts its own beans, light and in an international style, and sells them by the bag. Pour-overs are brewed Nordic-style to show the range of each coffee, from moderately priced Ethiopians up to a rare Peruvian Gesha, and the baristas know the origins and supply chains behind them. Espresso drinks, an iced latte and a shakerato round out the menu.
