Why it’s on the route
The Roast Things is one of Petaling Jaya's early micro-roasters, founded in 2014 by Q grader Chiam Tow Jin and roaster Ving Lim, and supplies its blends and seasonal single origins to cafés around the Klang Valley. Its Dataran Prima home now operates as the café Cream, with roasting done in a room behind the counter. The airy, pale-wood space serves filter coffee hot or iced, cold brew and Yunnan teas.
