Almanegra Café

Why it’s on the route

Almanegra began as a project among three friends in Narvarte and became one of Mexico City's early specialty bars. It is listed as a roaster in a coffee forum, uses Mexican beans from Oaxaca and nearby states, and serves Chemex pour-overs, nitro and coffee tonic. The small Roma Norte room is white, with square tables and a cement counter.
