Why it’s on the route

Origin roasts only Myanmar beans in a glass-walled roasting room on the upper floor, with green coffee held in a temperature- and humidity-controlled store by the entrance. Roasted beans drop through brass funnels into display tubes behind the counter. The space overlooks Inya Lake, with a teak-and-brass island bar downstairs and a banquette lounge above.
