Why it’s on the route
Toma Café opened in Malasaña in 2012, founded by Santiago Rigoni and Patricia Alda, and began roasting in-house on a Probat around 2016-17. It buys mainly through Belco, focusing on Central and South America with some African lots, and usually offers five or six coffees. The café is cozy and laid-back, with a second branch at Olavide.
