Why it’s on the route
Chuguika is a Shalu roastery founded by chief roaster Hong Da, chairman of TISCA and a Cup of Excellence judge, with a roasting room built around a 6kg Giesen and low-temperature green coffee storage. The pour-over program is led by a cupper who placed second in TISCA's national hand-brew contest, and the menu runs from Alishan SL34 lots to a washed Peruvian Geisha. A second café, Soul, opened in the West District in 2023.
