Why it’s on the route
Barista was opened in the Pearl District in 2009 by Billy Wilson, a two-time Northwest Regional Barista champion, and grew into a small group of Portland cafés. It is a multi-roaster bar with a rotating chalkboard menu that has featured roasters such as Intelligentsia, Verve, Ecco Caffè and Stumptown, served as espresso and pour-over.
