Café Avole was founded in 2012 by Solomon Dubie in a former Rainier Valley mini-mart and now has cafés in the Central District and University District. It serves single-origin Ethiopian coffee from its sibling roaster, and alongside espresso it pours coffee from a jebena, the clay pot of the Ethiopian coffee ceremony, with refills for guests who stay.
