Why it’s on the route

Java's is a long-running Rochester café on Gibbs Street, steps from the Eastman School of Music, that has been roasting its own coffee in the city for around three decades. It stays open late into the evening and serves espresso drinks, teas and specialty drinks alongside pastries such as tarts and bread pudding.
