Why it’s on the route
Loyal Coffee opened on South Nevada Avenue in October 2016, run cooperatively by six baristas who each hold an equal stake. They roast their own coffee at an Ivywild roastery for the cafés and a wholesale programme, and the roomy downtown flagship is a comfortable place to sit and work; a second café is in Northgate.
