Why it’s on the route

Mozart's opened in 1993 on the shore of Lake Austin, founded by four local couples, and co-founder Ken Leonard still runs it from the original location. Coffee has been roasted on site from the start, in view of guests, with drip in light to dark roasts, espresso drinks and cold draft lattes. The draw is the setting: multi-level decks under old oaks over the water, plus an indoor loft with a stage for near-daily live music.
