PT's Coffee was founded in Topeka in 1993 by Jeff Taylor and Fred Polzin, who began roasting a few years later and built a reputation on direct-trade relationships with producers. The College Hill café is the hometown home of a roaster now known well beyond Kansas, serving its single origins and blends as espresso and pour-over.
