Why it’s on the route

Spokesman roasts its own coffee and runs three shops, each next to a climbing gym or fitness center; this one is at The Yard, a mixed-use warehouse district in St. Elmo. The shop is marked by black-and-white murals by Austin artist Briks, and pours local beers, including from neighboring St. Elmo Brewing, alongside coffee.
