Why it’s on the route
The Curb began as a small multi-roaster chain and reopened on Waialae Avenue in 2018 under former employee Devin and Ross Uehara-Tilton. It rotates coffees from roasters such as Olympia, Intelligentsia and Big Island Coffee Roasters, brewed as espresso, pour-over and nitro cold brew. The compact, minimalist room keeps a counter of baked goods like poi banana bread.
