UP Cafe is the coffee bar of Up Coffee Roasters, the roasting arm of distributor Upper Midwest Gourmet Company in Northeast Minneapolis. The company sources certified organic, specialty-grade green coffee through direct relationships with farmers and roasts in small batches on site. The café took over a former showroom in the industrial building, opened up with high ceilings and big windows, and looks straight into the roastery.
