Why it’s on the route
Abuela was started by couple Stéfani Anza and Giancarlo Curti, who have roasted since 2021 and opened their own café in Floresta in 2023. Coffees come in three lines: sweet Esenciales, fruity Notables and Aventureros with experimental processes such as a 108-hour yeast fermentation. The small sit-down café serves only gluten-free pão de queijo and cookies alongside the coffee.
