Worth a detour
Toronto · Junction Triangle, Canada
Why it’s on the route
Propeller was founded in 2013 by Losel Tethong and roasts on a Loring machine in a former industrial building on Wade Avenue, with Geoff Polci as head roaster. It focuses on traceable single-farm coffees, including lots from women and Indigenous producers, and lists pour-overs of its own single origins. The front space is a large, open roastery-cafe that also hosts events.
