Subtext Coffee Roasters

Why it’s on the route

Subtext is a Toronto roastery launched by the team behind Boxcar Social, roasting lighter to bring out sweetness and sourcing seasonally from smallholder producers. It sells only single origins and shares traceability details and an annual Transparency Report. Pour-overs are served at its site in an industrial area of the city.
