Why it’s on the route
Frukt was founded in 2018 by Kyle Papai and roaster Samuli Pääkkönen, who trained in Turku and at Coffee Collective in Copenhagen. It roasts small seasonal lots from small producers on a Loring, with every coffee omni-roasted to work for both filter and espresso. The downtown showroom opened in 2024 and serves hand-brewed coffee, matcha and pastries from the neighbouring bageri Å in a clean, minimal room.
