Why it’s on the route

Kirjalan Paahtimo is a small neighbourhood café that doubles as a roasting operation, started when founder Olli built the first roaster with a local metalsmith. Several blends are named after streets in Kirjala, where the roastery began. The menu covers filter coffee, espresso, cold brew and decaf, and the café works as a community hub.
