Why it’s on the route

Cafelix opened in Winskiez in 2019 as the first branch outside Tel Aviv and roasts on a renovated 5 kg German roaster from the 1950s. It buys from farms directly, including a 60-year-old El Salvador farm that has supplied it for several years, and pulls espresso on a La Marzocco Leva. Raw coffee bags are stacked beside the entrance, and Middle Eastern-influenced pastries are baked in-house.
