Kalas Coffee was founded in Seoul in 2010 and opened its Leipzig branch in summer 2020; owner Ann won the Korea Coffee Roasting Championship and finished third at the 2015 World Coffee Roasting Championship. It offers rotating hand-brews and espresso made from carefully selected beans. The café sits behind a basement-level entrance with a garden, and serves cakes, croissants and some Korean-inspired dishes.
