Why it’s on the route

Mokka is a four-generation family coffee business that has roasted since 1992 and supplies more than 500 businesses from its production centre. Its Athinas Street café near Varvakios market serves espresso on its own beans and ibrik coffee prepared in hot sand. The retro room has high ceilings and sidewalk tables, in a neoclassical building that also houses a barista training centre.
