Djong Coffee Roastery

Why it’s on the route

Djong is a small roastery and coffee bar on Jalan Ratulangi in Rantepao, in the middle of Toraja's coffee country. Owner Micha roasts Toraja arabica on site in a light, Nordic style and works through several varieties, and he is happy to talk visitors through the beans and roasting and to point them to coffee farms nearby.
