Why it’s on the route

Klinik Kopi was opened in 2013 by Pepeng, first on Jalan Gejayan and later at its current spot off Jalan Kaliurang in Sleman, tucked down an alley among bamboo. It micro-roasts light Indonesian arabica, with single origins from Takengon, Bajawa and Papua, and works as a filter-only slow bar. Pepeng tells guests where each coffee comes from and how it was processed, and the café appeared in the film AADC2.
