Why it’s on the route
Center Coffee was opened in 2016 by Park Sang-ho, who grew up in the UK, won the UK Barista Championship and was head roaster at London's Square Mile before returning to Korea; he still leads the roasting. Single origins are brewed on Hario drippers, and he is known for clean, elegant Geishas such as Guatemala El Injerto Legendary Geisha. The original shop sits beside Seoul Forest, and this branch is in the city centre near Gwanghwamun.
