Why it’s on the route
Fritz was founded in 2014 by a group that includes green coffee buyer Kim Byung-gi, previously a co-founder of Coffee Libre, and national-team barista Park Geun-ha. Its in-house team roasts single origins and blends for its own shops and wholesale, poured as espresso drinks and rotating single-origin pour-overs, with bread and pastries from its own bakery. The Dohwa flagship is a renovated hanok-style building, bright and busy, with plenty of seating.
