Why it’s on the route
Travertine began as a Seoul partner of Copenhagen's La Cabra and started roasting its own coffee after the partnership ended, around the opening of this Hannam shop. Single origins are offered as brewed coffee, such as a Kenyan with sharp, lemon-peel acidity, alongside espresso and a Brazil-based latte. The café occupies the ground floor of a residential complex, a quiet minimalist room of white walls and wood, with tableware made with Choi Jin-ho ceramics.
