Why it’s on the route

Dam Dam is run by French-Lao owner David Viron and roasts single-origin Lao coffee on a one-kilo Bullet roaster, buying directly from farmers. The brew menu centres on hand-brewed filter coffee, and the Lak 40 farm on the Bolaven supplies its robusta. It sits in a renovated 1958 shophouse beside Wat Chan and hosts coffee workshops and the national AeroPress championship.
