Akha Ama Coffee Phrasingh
Chiang Mai · Mueang, Thailand
Special experience
Why it’s on the route
Akha Ama was founded in 2010 by Lee Ayu Chuepa as a social enterprise buying directly from farmers in his Akha hill-tribe village of Maejantai, where coffee is shade-grown alongside fruit and tea. The Phrasingh branch on Ratchadamnoen Road is a red-brick building with an S-shaped bar curving up to a mezzanine. Its multi-page pour-over menu sorts coffees by roast, region and process, from Liger honey to the Candy Crash natural blend.
