Why it’s on the route
Ministry of Roasters is a café and roastery on Chang Moi Road in Chiang Mai, in a building designed by Anuwat Kobnampetch. Its curved parametric shell is modelled on a roast-profile graph, and at night its lighting shifts colour to mirror beans changing as they roast, lighting up the street. The project won in the Spaces category of the 2024 SCA Coffee Design Awards.
