Why it’s on the route

Broadsheet was founded by Aaron MacDougall, a former banker turned Q grader who has won a roasting competition and placed fifth at the US Cup Tasters Championship. Opened in 2017 as Cambridge's first coffee roastery, the café roasts twice a week on a Loring S-15 visible from the floor, mostly beans from Ethiopia, Peru and Guatemala. The bright room on Kirkland Street also serves house-made baked goods, breakfast and lunch.
