Why it’s on the route

Gracenote roasts in Berlin, in central Massachusetts, and opened this downtown espresso bar at Lincoln and Tufts streets in 2015. Espresso comes off a Modbar with an EK43 grinder, and the filter side covers a rotating drip coffee and pour-over, plus cold brew on tap. The glass-walled room is only about 200 square feet and standing-room only, with a live-edge olive-wood bar along the front.
